My Product Design Journey
I'm a mechanical engineer graduate with work experience in consulting and project coordination. Through my undergrad, I learned to solve complex problems using a systematic approach known as, Evidence-Based Framework (or the Scientific Method). On the side, I was always playing with design software such as CAD or Adobe suite as I wanted a creative outlet. With these two backgrounds, I knew I had to find a career path that combines problem-solving and design.
During my last year, a counselor introduced me to the world of Product Design. A career path that doesn't throw away my engineering skills and utilizes design thinking. I knew that this was a career path I wanted to pursue. Initially, I learned through networking, videos, and books, but I decided to formalize my learnings through a BootCamp known as Memorisely after finishing my undergrad as an engineer.
Currently, I'm looking for a full-time position, but if you want to collaborate on a project, feel free to reach out!
